Welcome!
WWII is a fascinating subject for many reasons. It was truly a world war that affected countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. World War II also changed the international power structure as it weakened Great Britain and France, and empowered the United States and Russia. Additionally, World War II changed warfare today by introducing atomic weaponry. Furthermore, World War II resulted in the formation of Israel which greatly affects current international affairs. For more reasons than are listed here, World War II is an incredibly interesting subject that is very exciting to learn about.

About Me:
My name is Morgan Wintsch. I currently attend UNC Wilmington where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in History and licensure in secondary education. At the age of 16, I lived in Braunschweig, Germany for one year as an exchange student. While there, I lived with a German family and went to a German school, which was an amazing experience. Also, I have recently become a Vegan to object the cruel and inhumane factory farming industry, as well as live a healthier lifestyle. Becoming Vegan has been much easier than I originally presumed; I highly recommend it. When I am not at school or working, I like to walk my dog, Molly, at the park or or the beach. After I graduate from UNC Wilmington, I plan to move back to my hometown, Charlotte, NC, where I hope to find a teaching position and possibly pursue a Master's degree.
